TANAHUN, Oct 7: An eight-year-old boy died after being hit by a tractor in Galbubesi, Byas Municipality-1 on Monday. According to the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Sabin Kumal.
Ashok Thapa, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office, said that Kumal was studying in grade 2 at Gyanganga English Boarding School in Byas Municipality-1. He sustained severe injuries in the collision with the tractor (Ga 1 Ta 7031) and died in Damauli Hospital during treatment.

Police have detained the tractor driver Pradip BK and further investigation into the incident is underway, DSP Thapa added.
