KATHMANDU, July 10: An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale and with its epicenter at Bahrabise of Sindhupalchok, was recorded at 12.47PM on Monday, said the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale and with its epicenter near Bhalayakharka of Lamjung, had occurred before this on June 23.
Earthquake tremors epicentered in places of the mountainous and hilly regions of eastern and western parts of the country have become recurrent of late. The mountainous and hilly region of Nepal is considered vulnerable to earthquakes.
