DPM Gautam leaves for Qatar

KATHMANDU, April 11: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam today left for Doha, Qatar, to attend the 13th United Nations Congress of Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice scheduled to be held on April 12 and 19.

Deputy Prime Minister is scheduled to address the Congress on Sunday, according to his Media Coordinator Bishwamani Subedi.


Gautam is accompanied by Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs and Peace and Chief of the Peace and Security Division, Laxmi Prasad Dhakal.

Secretary Surya Prasad Silwal, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Upendra Kanta Aryal and senior officials at the Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department reached to the Tribhuwan International Airport to see off Deputy Prime Minister Gautam. RSS
