MUGU, April 1: Air service has been hit in Karnali zone after the aircraft of private airlines companies moved to the eastern region over lucrative business.
The domestic tourists visiting the Rara Lake have been badly hit after the aircraft moved to eastern part of the country to make fast bucks capitalizing on the tourist season.
Air service has been affected in Karnali zone after private airlines aircraft including Tara Air, Goma Air, Sita Air deserted the zone to begin services in the eastern regions.
"Tourists bound for Rara Rake, Phoksundo Lakes had already booked tickets. We are facing problem to take them to the destinations due to the lack air service,” Tanka Raj Giri, manager of Visit Karnali Tours and Travels, told Republica Online.
