Do you marvel at the mundane everyday things in life? Do you appreciate the warmth that spreads on your entire body when you lay there covered under the quilt? Do you smile as you watch the water disappear from your hands and spread on the handkerchief instead when you wipe your hands dry? Do the small obvious things in life fascinate you? Do you laugh at the sight of a sparrow twitching its head while nibbling the lone loaf of bread laying stray on the ground?

Do your eyes appreciate the subtle movement of clouds evident only after staring at the blue sky for a while? Do you bask in the sun or dance in the rain or feel the rush of wind on your body? Do you feel it? Or do you just rush past life taking every small thing for granted as if they really are nothing? Do you listen to the distant honking of a car and feel powerful at the knowledge of being young and healthy?


Do you hug your mom for simply being your mom? Do you smile wider as you listen to the chirping of the birds in the mornings or as your ears carry to you the starting melody of a song you love? Do you thank your lucky stars for the stupid small beautiful things that make your life so much more beautiful? Do you?
