KATHMANDU, May 28: With the rising temperature, the number of diarrhea patients is growing in private and government hospitals in Bhaktapur.

Lack of sanitation awareness, contaminated water and foods sold openly are the reasons for the diarrhea cases, doctors said.

In-charge of emergency ward at Bhaktapur Hospital Dr Ranjana Yadav said the number of diarrhea patients visiting the hospitals has gone up of late.
