Nagendra Kumar Shah, head of the health branch of Narainapur Rural Municipality, said that diarrhea  has spread in Gegli, a village connected to the Indian border.

Health workers have also coordinated with the Banke Health Office to control diarrhea. Health workers suggest that the spread of diarrhea  could be due to the heat and contaminated drinking water.

Shah said that four people have died on different dates and some patients have been sent to Bheri Hospital for treatment. He said that a team of health workers went to the village to provide treatment as soon as they received  information about a diarrhea outbreak.
