DHANKUTA, June 16: Host Dhankuta Red on Tuesday entered the semifinals of the Sahid Bhim Narayan International Gold Cup Football Tournament beating Morang XI in the sudden death.
The winner was decided after both the team played 1-1 draw in regular 90 minutes and added 30 minutes. Both the team also scored 10-10 penalty shootout after 11 players of both sides tried their luck.

Then, Deepak Rai's goal was enough for Dhankuta to secure place in the last four as Anil Dhimal of Morang failed to convert in the sudden death. Earlier, Dhankuta took the lead within five minutes of regular time with Sedrik Aba's goal.
However, NirajBasnet equalized the score utilizing spot kick with four minutes to go.
