Police crushed Dhanusha 11-0 at the Gauritar stadium in Hetauda, Makawanpur after Army had defeated Kathmandu 7-0 at the same venue in the early kick-off. Similarly, APF thrashed Morang 13-0 in another quarternfinal.[break]
Yashoda Lama of Police completed a hat-trick in Police´s victory over Dhanusha. Lama netted in the 13th, 17th and 53rd minutes. Rupa Magar, Niru Thapa and Sapana Thebe scored a brace each. Magar scored in 28th and 38th, Thapa in the 33rd and 74th, and Thebe in the 67th and 80th. Nirmala Sunuwar and Chandra Bhandari were also on the scoresheet.
Similarly, Krishna Khatri scored a treble for Army against Kathmandu. Khatri opened the scoring in the third minute, added a second in the 53rd and completed her hat-trick in the 67th. Deepa Adhkiari struck in the 33rd and 35th minutes. Kabita Dhamala and Sharmila also scored for Army.
At the Kirtipur ground in Nawalparasi, Anu Lama hit a double hat-trick in APF´s demolition of Morang. Lama scored in the 25th, 39th, 51st, 82nd, 83rd and 90th minutes. Sajana Rana struck in the 47th, 53rd, 54th and 73rd minutes to finish with four goals. Renuka Nagarkoti scored a brace and Ranjana Darjee netted one.
APF faces Kailali in the first semifinal in Nawalparasi on Wednesday, while Police and Army vie for a place in the final on Thursday in Hetauda. The final will be held in Hetauda on Saturday.
