KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Solidarity for Govinda KC Alliance has staged a huge demonstraton in the capital, urging the government to save the life of Dr Govinda KC on Saturday.

Putting forth a six-point demand concerning reforms in the health sector, Dr Govinda KC, a senior surgeon at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Maharajgunj, has been staging a fast-onto-death for the last 21 days.
Coordinator of Naya Shakti Party, Nepal Dr Baburam Bhattarai, civil society activists, doctors, among others, were present in the demonstration.
