KATHMANDU, April 10: A New Delhi bound Jet Airways plane averted a disaster at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

The plane was about to take off without filling its tank with the Air Turbine Fuel (ATF). However, when pilot Manoj Arora noticed that the aircraft was running out of fuel after the push back, he taxied to the parking bay at around 3:50 pm.


According to TIA spokesperson Pratap Babu Tiwari, the flight took off at around 5:29 pm. after refueling. There were 138 passengers on the flight.
