KATHMANDU, May 30: Indian carrier Jet Airways has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) for providing discounted fares to the bank’s customers.

According to SCBNL, the bank’s customers will get attractive discounts on fare on the airline’s direct flights from Kathmandu to destinations in India. “The bank’s priority account holders will get 15 percent discount on base fares. Likewise, all debit and credit card holders will get 10 percent discount on base fares.
The offer will be available only for the tickets booked through the airline’s website,” a press statement issued by SCBNL reads. “This is an example how Standard Chartered is committed toward offering differentiated products and services to its clients,” Joseph Silvanus, CEO of the bank, said in the press statement.
