The meeting held at party headquarters in Koteshwor authorized the chairman to prepare the report that will include the review of the past, analysis of the present and strategy of the future by reviewing the contemporary political situation including the peace process and constitution writing.[break]
The politburo is considered a powerful body in the party.
Party spokesperson Dinanath Sharma said the party also decided that party chairman Prachanda will alone have right to dismiss any media reports and give the party’s official views.
Sharma said the party will lead the new consensus government and it is only the party that can decide on the person to lead the government and that should not be a mater of concern to any other party.
