The meeting of the UCPN (Maoist) taken place at the party´s headquarters Paris Danda, Koteshwor on Tuesday instructed the former CA members from the party to set out for their respective districts and the constituencies and make necessary preparations for the elections, according to former lawmaker Chandra Bahadur Thapa.
"The new constitution could be drafted in time if our party was not committed to the pro-people constitution", said party Chairman Dahal accusing the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) of barring the nation from going to federalism along with ethic identity .
Claiming that only the UCPN (Maoist) could guarantee the people´s rights, leader Dahal expressed his hope of securing two-third majority in the next CA elections.
Similarly, Party Vice Chairman and Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai said the government announcement for the fresh CA elections was ´constitutional´ and he was committed to move ahead taking all the parties into confidence.
However, leaders close to party´s senior Vice Chairman Mohan Baidhya were not present at the meeting.
