The administration had lifted the curfew orders from 6:00 a.m. in view of college students´ examination and normalizing the situation in the country.
Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli said the administration enforced curfew orders to avoid any untoward incident as there was increasing hostility between UCPN (Maoist)´s Young Communist League and CPN-UML´s Youth Force in the recent days.

Life in Dhankuta has been paralyzed as Youth Force´s district chapter imposed an indefinite district shutdown. Vehicular movement, markets, educational institutions and businesses in the district have remained closed since Tuesday.
Meanwhile, situation in the district has been deteriorated after Maoist cadres announced a blockade on the district headquarters. Maoist district leader Dilli Ram Rai confirmed it.
The Maoists have blocked the entry points to the headquarters by putting wooden logs across the Koshi Highway. Even ambulances and other emergency vehicles have been remained off the road.
