KATHMANDU, June 3: A meeting of the Standing Committee of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) is scheduled for 4PM on Thursday. The meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar has been called to discuss the internal disputes and party unity.
UML party office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang said that the meeting adjourned on Wednesday has been rescheduled for today. According to him, the meeting will discuss the internal affairs of the party. The party has been continuously holding meetings to resolve intraparty disputes.

A meeting of party leaders of the Madhav Kumar Nepal-Jhala Nath Khanal faction of UML is also being held today.
