MORANG, Sept 18: An elderly man succumbed to COVID-19 in Biratnagar on Thursday evening.
The man, 66, from Biratnagar-10 died while undergoing treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital.
He was admitted to the hospital on Sept 15 after he complained of high fever, kidney problems and breathing difficulties, according to the isolation ward in-charge of the hospital, Dr Sunil Dev.
With one more COVID-19 related death on Thursday, Biratnagar’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 21.
