KATHMANDU, April 23: Two more patients have tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
During the regular press briefing at his ministry, the spokesperson Dr Bikash Devkota informed that a 55-year-old female and 14-year-old boy have diagnosed with this deadly virus. Swab sample of the woman from Udayapur was tested positive at Kathmandu based National Public Health Laboratory while the boy hails from Janakpur.
Meanwhile, two patients have recovered and discharged from Patan Hospital on Thursday itself. With this, Nepal has 38 active cases. No death has been reported so far.
All the confirmed COVID-19 patients are normal, according to Dr Devkota.
