According to police, the deceased have been identified as Bindeshwor Chaudhary (23) and his wife Rinku Chauudhary (20).[break]
Police said that the couple committed suicide by consuming poison (pesticide) last night.
Police said the incident came to light on Sunday morning after locals broke open the door as the couple who had gone for sleep after dinner last night, did not open the door even after repeated knocks.
Their body was found lying on the ground at the room.
"Though the reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained, extreme poverty might have been the reason behind the act," the Area Police Pffice, Gaushala informed.
