CM Bhatta pledges to upgrade Doti District Hospital

DOTI, Jan15: Far Western State's chief minister Trilochan Bhatta has pledged to upgrade the District Hospital Doti to an advanced health facility in the entire state. During his visit to the hospital today, the chief minister shared the government plan of upgrading the hospital.

Additional devices and human resources would be ensured in the hospital, he added. According to social development minister Krishna Raj Subedi, who was also present on the occasion, more quotas of doctors would be allotted for the facility. Lately, the health institutions in the far-west face a lack of required number of human resources. The available human resource is 13 percent less than the total allotted quotas.


As said by the District Health Office, Doti, presently 267 posts are occupied, out of a total 308, in 59 health institutions at nine local levels in the district.
