Clean Bagmati Mega Campaign at Sundarighat

KATHMANDU, April 4: The Clean Bagmati Mega Campaign has entered the 99th week on Saturday. As per the campaign, wastes of Bagmati River at Sundarighat and it’s environ were collected.

The grand campaign was initiated after the River, with huge cultural and religious values, turned into a putrid swathe.


The campaign started 99 weeks back from Bagdwar with the commitment to return the River to its earlier state will be concluded next week reaching Chobhar.

The participants of the mega Campaign led by Chief Secretary Leela Mani Poudyal urged one and all living in Kathmandu Valley to join the campaign, which would help restore the chastity of the holy Bagmati River. RSS
