Bagmati Clean-up Campaign enters 183th week

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: The Bagmati Clean-up Campaign, under which the sacred Bagmati River is cleaned every Saturday, entered its 183th week today.

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: The Bagmati Clean-up Campaign, under which the sacred Bagmati River is cleaned every Saturday, entered its 183th week today.



Personnel of Nepal Army (NA), Nepal Police, representatives of different social organizations and photojournalists among others cleaned the river near Guheshwori Temple, north of Pashupati Temple today. 



 Bagmati Clean-up Campaign's campaigner and newly-appointed Nepali ambassador to China, Lilamani Poudel also participated in the clean-up drive. Poudel was honored today for his contribution to the campaign as he is leaving for the northern neighbor as an envoy.
