It was organized in Bardiya last year after the government decided to ban hotels inside the national park showing the wild life security problem.
World Elephant Polo Association and Tiger Tops Hotel will organize the 29th International Elephant Polo Championship jointly at Meghauli Airport from Nov 29, said Ram Singh Gurung, the manager of the hotel.
Different eight teams - National Park Team Nepal, Tiger Tops, Tusker Iceland, Pokka Chukka and Scotland of Britain, Switzerland, UAE, Afghanistan and British Gurkhas are participating in the competition.
Tourism entrepreneurs said the elephant polo that has been started from 1981 in Nepal has helped the tourism sectors in Chitwan.
