ROLPA, July 25: The quality of education at Balyakalyan Secondary School, Rolpa has improved after the school administration installed CCTV cameras around the school premises.
“After installing CCTV cameras, all of our staff and students have become disciplined. Every activity of the school can be monitored including the incoming and outgoing of staff and educational materials,” said Madhusudhan Pokharel, principal of the school.

According to Pokharel, the students have started becoming more obedient and the number of mischievous activities has also gone down since the cameras were installed. He also said, “The quality of education has also gone up.”
Thirteen cameras were installed at a cost of around Rs 300,000 in various classrooms of the school. Meanwhile, three cameras have been put outside the rooms. Pokharel said he monitors all of the happenings from his room.
