KATHMANDU, June 11: Naya Shakti Party Nepal (NSPN) Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) chairman Updendra Yadav on Sunday urged Rastriya Janata Party Nepal Chairman Mahantha Thakur to protect the achievements of the Madhes movement by capitalizing on the upcoming local level elections.

“We would like to appeal to all the agitating political parties including RJP-N to institutionalize the federalism with rights and to foil the anti-revolutionary plot by capitalizing on the upcoming local level elections,” said a statement jointly issued by Bhattarai and Yadav.

The statement further said that the NSPN and FSFN will continue their alliance in the second phase of local level elections as in the first one.
