Campus padlocked

ITAHARI, Sept 19: Students affiliated with Nepal Students´ Union (NSU) and All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) padlocked Janata Campus on Friday, to protest the management committee´s decision to award permanent appointment to nine lecturers.



The protesters claimed that the appoints were against the rules. The campus has time and again been affected by strikes following the postponement of Free Student Union election.



Chairman of the management committee Medini Prasad Pokhrel said the appointment controversy will be resolved through dialogues soon.
