Cabinet members assigned additional portfolios two days after Supreme Court dismissed 20 ministers

KATHMANDU, June 24: Two days after the Supreme Court annulled the cabinet expansions following the dissolution of the lower house of federal parliament, the existing five members of the KP Sharma Oli-led Cabinet have been assigned additional ministerial portfolios.

KATHMANDU, June 24: Two days after the Supreme Court annulled the cabinet expansions following the dissolution of the lower house of federal parliament, the existing five members of the KP Sharma Oli-led Cabinet have been assigned additional ministerial portfolios. 


President Bidya Devi Bhandari, at the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Oli, assigned additional ministerial portfolios to Bishnu Poudel, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Basanta Kumar Nembang and Lila Nath Shrestha including Oli. 


With the latest reshuffle, Oli will take charge of Defence and Foreign Affairs ministries. 


Other four ministers will have the following portfolios :
