Sony launches World Cup offer

Laxmi Bank supports Kalika school
KATHMANDU, May 21: Laxmi Bank Limited extended its support to Kalika Higher Secondary School in Sindhupalchowk by donating four computers. The school plans to use the computers to conduct computer classes.
Planning for computer classes in the school had been going on for a long time, but conducting one for real has been made possible with this initiation from Laxmi Bank.
Sanjeev Raj Joshi, head of trade, payments and credit operations at Laxmi Bank, handed over the computers to Bhakta Dhoj Bohara, director of the school at the Banepa Branch of the bank, the bank said in a statement.
“Donation of the computers to Kalika school is a small initiation with which Laxmi Bank expects to spread the IT-related knowledge and awareness among the rural Nepalese community,” the statement added.
Coca-Cola announces lucky winner
KATHMANDU, May 21: Bottlers Nepal Ltd and Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Ltd -- the official bottler of Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite in Nepal - has announced the winner of Coca-Cola Football Maha Utsab.
According to the press statement received on Friday, code number 0901079266 has been announced the third winner of the offer via random lucky draw. The winner gets an opportunity to visit South Africa to watch FIFA World Cup Live with three other winners.
