Staff of the Indonesian Embassy and representatives of the Indonesian community in Nepal were among those present on the occasion. Diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Nepal were established in 1960.
On the occasion, Zainuddin mentioned the cultural similarities between the two countries. Nepal´s trade deficit with Indonesia stands at around US$ 14 million.
Chaudhary felicitated
KATHMANDU, April 22: Marwadi Service Committee Nepal (MSCN) along with other organizations on Thursday felicitated Lunkarandas Chaudhary for his contribution in socio-economic sectors amid a function in the capital.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal also congratulated Chaudhary on the occasion.
Lunkarandas is one of the pioneer industrialists of Nepal and the founder of Chaudhary Group (CG). CG is the leading business house of the country.

Prime Bank opens new branch
KATHMANDU, April 22: Prime Commercial Bank opened its new branch in Nawalparasi. The new branch was inaugurated by Narayan Das Manandhar, CEO of the bank.
