Budhanilkantha into NK Memorial football final<br/>Keshav wins, Badri and Wilam share points

KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Hosts Budhanilkantha School set up the title clash with Shree Budhanilkantha Higher Secondary School in the ongoing NK Memorial Inter-college Football Tournament being held at Budhanilkantha School Ground. [break]



In the semifinal match held on Wednesday, the hosts beat Active College 3-1. Rohit Khadka scored a brace and Suman Paudel netted one. In another semifinal, Shree Budhanilkantha edged out St Lawrence 3-2.





Keshav wins, Badri and Wilam share points



KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Former national champion Keshav Shrestha registered third win of the tournament on Wednesday in the seventh round of Grand Masters Chess Tournament being held in Dhaka.



Keshav, rated 2134, defeated local FIDE Master Minhajuddin Ahmad. With the win, Keshav accumulated 4 points. FIDE Master Manish Hamal, Badri Lal Nepali, Wilam Lal Shrestha, however, shared half point each after draws with their opponents.
