Police said the driver of the bus (Na 2 Kha 1395) Raju Limbu, 21, and four others dragged the 21-year-old nun of Khatamma, Bhojpur inside the bus in Sabhakhola, Khandbari and raped her at around 10 Saturday night.[break]
Local cadres of the Sanghiya Limbuwan Rajya Parishad took the five under control after hearing of the crime and handed them over to the police.
Bus driver Limbu of Terhathum, Sovit Magar, 17, of Pakhribas, Dhankuta, Bhuwan Gurung, 24, of Madirambeni, Sankhuwasabha, Drona Bahadur Rai, 27, of Itahari-5, Sunsari and Avishek Magar, 18, of Dharan-15 are under police custody at present.
Area Police Office Chainpur said the bus has also been taken under control for investigations.
The nun, unconscious after the rape, has been admitted to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
Teacher accused of raping school girl
A teacher has been accused of raping a school girl in Rangeli of Morang district, RSS reported.
A twelve-year-old second grader at Rangeli English School claimed that she was raped by her teacher Mukesh Kumar Shah some five months ago.
The girl was rushed to hospital after she complained stomach pain and vomiting frequently. But, to their surprise, she was found pregnant after they received the medical report from the local health center.
The medical report stated a 21 week old foetus in her womb.
However, accused Shah claimed he was innocent. He said the girl´s parents were making false claim. He has challenged for the DNA test and said he was ready to face any legal action if he found guilty.
The victim refuted the claim and said Shah raped her in school after taking her behind the toilet and warned of punishment if she brought out the issue.
Raping a student in the school premises is beyond my imagination, it is only rumor created to defame the school image, claimed Shesh Raj Rajbamshi, the school´s principal.
The case has become further mysterious after the girl claimed her maternal uncle´s involvement in the case.
