Minister Pun had issued the directives in a monthly meeting held in the Ministry and attended by the finance secretary, home secretary, chief of the Inland Revenue Department, chiefs of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force.
The chief government officials had briefed minister Pun about the reduction of such cases in the past four months.
"We are in a glasshouse under public observation, we need to be serious and focus on this important task at hand", Pun said.
