The store launches winter sale every year to clear its stock. “We will introduce summer wear as soon as our winter stocks are sold out,” said Dilip KC, manager of Sports plaza. KC is betting big on the scheme and said it would help draw people of all age groups to the store.
“Not only on apparels, we are offering up to 50 percent discount on more than 120 models of men´s shoes and more than 30 models of women´s shoes and slippers,” added KC.
The price of Reebok shoes ranges from Rs 500 to Rs 14,000.
Customers can also avail 20-30 percent discount on Lee jeans and up to 50 percent discount on Rockport footwear and Police shades. Lee, Police and Rockport have their outlets at Durbar Marg.
Giordano at Sherpa Mall, Durbar Marg has also announced winter sale. Ram Pyakurel, proprietor of the Giordano, said the store was offering up to 50 percent discount on winter wears and footwear. “Besides apparels and shoes, we are also offering attractive discount on different accessories,” added Pyakurel.
Another branded store Puma has also announced 10-15 percent discount on winter apparels, footwear and other products available at the store.
“Though we are a fixed price store, we are offering discount as per the company policy to boost sale of winter apparels,” said Pemba Tamang, sales executive, at Puma store in Durbar Marg.
