Bomb defused in Bardiya office

BARDIYA, Dec 12: Security personnel defused a bomb planted at the entrance of land reforms office in Bardiya Saturday. A joint team from the Nepali Police and the Nepal Army defused the bomb.



There is no evidence who planted the bomb, but police suspect that it might have been done by some underground armed groups.



Locals were terrified as the bomb disposal team from the Nepal Army arrived late at the site. Traffic along the Guleriya-Murtiha road section was disrupted due to the bomb. The situation has come to normal after the bomb was defused.
