Bank of Kathmandu helps Dhurmus Suntali Foundation

KATHMANDU, July 12: Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) Ltd has provided Rs 500,000 to Dhurmus Suntali Foundation. Ajay Shrestha, CEO of BoK, presented a check for Rs 500,000 to Sitaram Kattel of 'Dhurmus Suntali Foundation' amidst a program held at the bank. According to a statement issued by the bank, the foundation is headed by popular comedian couple Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire, who are engaged in different social initiatives after the earthquakes of 2015.

KATHMANDU, July 12: Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) Ltd has provided Rs 500,000 to Dhurmus Suntali Foundation. Ajay Shrestha, CEO of BoK, presented a check for Rs 500,000 to Sitaram Kattel of 'Dhurmus Suntali Foundation' amidst a program held at the bank. According to a statement issued by the bank, the foundation is headed by popular comedian couple Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire, who are engaged in different social initiatives after the earthquakes of 2015.



"At present, the foundation is supporting construction of 65 houses under a concept of integrated settlement development.



These facilities consists of 65 houses with attached toilet, a community hall and facility for education of the children at Giranchaur VDC of Sindhupalchowk district."



Prior to this, the foundation was involved in construction of 20 houses for earthquake victims of Kavre district. BoK is engaged in multiple layers of social activities directly or through partnerships with trust worthy and dependable institutions.



"BoK's association with Dhurmus Suntali Foundation is under similar initiatives," the statement added.
