DHARAN, Feb 17: A body was found inside two bags in the forest of Apagachhi area at Dharan-4 along the Dharan-Bhedetar road section of the Koshi Highway on Wednesday and Thursday. Police estimate that the body parts found in both the bags may belong to the same person.
The body has been sent for a postmortem and further investigation is underway, according to DSP Narendra Kunwar of the Area Police Office.

The locals found a head and one leg in a bag when they went to look for firewood in the forest around 4PM on Wednesday. “A team from the Federal Police Unit and Area Police Office Dharan searched the forest and found other body parts in another bag,” said SP Bhim Dahal of the Federal Police Unit.
Similarly, according to SP Dahal, other parts of the body were found in another zebra bag this morning, about a kilometer north of where the body was found on Wednesday. He said that the body parts had been dumped for the purpose of disposing after the murder. “The body parts we found today and yesterday are of the same person. It looks like the body parts were separately disposed of in different places after murdering that person.”
