BUTWAL, Dec 2: An all-party meeting is being held in Rupandehi district to address the grievances that cropped up after the constitution amendment bill was registered in Parliament.

CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam, Secretary Bishnu Paudel and Ghanashyam Bhusal are attending the gathering today.

Similarly, Chandra Bhandari of Nepali Congress and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi of CPN (Maoist Center) are also participating in the gathering. The demonstration is said to be staged under the leadership of the aforementioned leaders.

The leaders and cadres will conduct a protest rally which will pass from Chauraha to Traffic Chowk and converge into a corner meeting.

Issuing a statement, UML Rupandehi in-charge and central member of the party Lila Giri has appealed to one and all to exercise restraint and not to provoke the situation during the demonstration. 

Leaders, cadres and general people in the districts have been demonstrating against the constituiont amendment bill registered in Parliament that proposes to split five hill districts from Provicen 5.
