Bar vote count begins

KATHMANDU, April 5: The vote count for the new leadership of Nepal Bar Association (NBA), an umbrella organization of legal practitioners, has begun from Tuesday morning, said election committee chief election officer Hari Shankar Niraula.


The election of the new NBA leadership was held on Saturday. The vote counting has taken place in eight centers set up for the same expecting to complete the counting soon.

A total of 71 candidates have competed for the 25-member new NBA executive committee.
