NC continues to take lead in Biratnagar Sub-metropolis, vote count almost completed

BIRATNAGAR, July 8: As the vote count is about to come to an end, Nepali Congress mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates continue to take the lead in the races for the mayor and deputy mayor of Biratnagar Sub-metropolitan City. Vote count is expected to end by Saturday midnight.

BIRATNAGAR, July 8: As the vote count is about to come to an end, Nepali Congress mayoral and deputy  mayoral candidates continue to take the lead in the races for the mayor and deputy mayor of Biratnagar Sub-metropolitan City. Vote count is expected to end by Saturday midnight.

Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Bhim Parajuli is ahead of his nearest rival CPN-UML mayoral Binod Dhakal. Prajuli has garnered 19,151 votes against 13, 835 votes for his closest rival Dhakal.


Likewise, Nepali Congress deputy mayoral candidate Indira Karki is also taking the lead. Karki has garnered 16, 670 votes , compared to 8570 votes for her closest rival Nepal Democratic Forum deputy mayoral candidate supported by CPN-UML as per the electoral alliance forged between the two parties.
