KATHMANDU, August 20: The chief of Bagmati Province, Bishnu Prasad Prasai has been dismissed from his post.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari removed Prasai from his post on Friday as per Article 165 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
Prasai was dismissed on the recommendation of the Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, according to a press statement issued by the President’s Office.
