BARA, Jan 24: A father has been arrested by the police for killing his 15-year-old daughter for allegedly falling in love with a Dalit youth. Harindra Mahato of Triveni Tol, Feta Rural Municipality 1, Bara, has been arrested by the police on the charge of killing his daughter Koshila Kumari.
BARA, Dec 13: A local resident sustained severe injuries in a clash between protesting employees and the police in Bara's Simraungadh Municipality. Bara Superintendent of Police, Suresh Kafle, reported that the injured individual was transported to Narayani Hospital in Birgunj for treatment.
