TAPLEJUN, July 20: A young man of Kavrepalanchok who works at United Hydropower located in Ward No. 4 of Meringden Rural Municipality of Taplejung drowned in a river. The deceased is 28/29-year-old Tirtha Tamang of Kavrepalanchok.
TAPLEJUNG, March 11: Fire that broke out this morning at local Kopche village in Phungling, the district headquarters of Taplejung, has been brought under control now. The fire was brought under control jointly by the fire brigades, Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) personnel.
