ITAHARI, Sep 4: Over the past year, Koshi Province has taken disciplinary measures against 86 Armed Police Force (APF) personnel for misconduct. The announcement came during a press conference held by the Koshi Provincial Level Armed Police Force Barah Bahini Pakli Sunsari on Sunday.

ITAHARI, Oct 11: Hakiv Miya of Narasimha Rural Municipality-5, who was arrested a few days ago by the police on the charge of indecent behavior, ‘committed suicide’ by hanging himself inside the District Police Office (DPO).  Following the death of the detainee, Sunsari district had become tense as the relatives of the deceased gheraoed the DPO and attacked the police personnel, compelling them to fire a few tear gas canisters to disperse the crowd.
