RAUTAHAT, Oct 13: Police in Rautahat district on Friday arrested six individuals including four Indian nationals in possession of Chinese pistols and their magazines.A police team on a regular patrol had arrested the six from the Nepal-India border. According to police, the police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Basnet from the District Police Office (DPO) caught them from the no man's land near Paroha Municipality-8, Motipur while they were smoking hashish.

Locals said the contractor’s failure to complete the construction of a bridge over the Lalbakaiya River on time forced people to use boat to cross the river so the contractor was also responsible for the accident.
