KATHMANDU, Feb 19: The auditions for the upcoming reality show 'Rap Battle Nepal', organized by Yujisa International in collaboration with State Media Network, commenced on February 17 from Sikkim. The show is scheduled to be broadcast on AP1 Television starting from April.
Event director Devil Singh Rajput expressed that the show aims to foster a celebratory musical ambiance appealing to various audiences, especially the youth.
Online rap battle to be organized amid lockdown
Auditions are slated to take place in Darjeeling and Siliguri, alongside Sikkim, with renowned singer, composer, and rapper Binod Dhakal serving as the judge. Following auditions in Siliguri, Dhakal will traverse through Nepal, making stops in Jhapa, Itahari, Janakpur, Chitwan, Pokhara, and concluding the journey in Kathmandu.
The audition venues include Remanti Sangeet Academy in Sikkim on February 17, Hotel Yuma in Darjeeling on February 19, Karma Music Academy in Siliguri on February 21, BTM Mantra Thakali in Jhapa Birtamod on February 23, Hotel Maden Inn in Itahari on February 25, Hotel Rajdurbar Navrang Resort in Janakpur on February 27, Chitwan Garden Resort at Bharatpur, Chitwan on February 29, Club Sixteen at Pokhara Lakeside on March 2, and Kathmandu on March 4 and March 5.
