KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Nepal Army on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of integrating those Maoist combatants who deserted Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF).

The combatants who are accused of criminal activities and serious human rights violations also do not fall under the criteria set by Nepal Army for integration, according to a reliable source in Nepal Army.

The government on Sunday decided to direct Nepal Army to start the integration process.

According to the seven point deal forged between the parties, it has been agreed upon that such combatants will not be integrated, said the source.
