BIRATNAGAR, March 1: The District Administration Office, Morang, has declared the areas around the Province Assembly Secretariat Building of Province 1, the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers and the area around the Chief Minister's residence as prohibited zones.
The area has been declared a restricted zone as there is a possibility of protests, sit-ins, processions and clashes when the subject of naming the province assembly is on the table.
Areas including Dhikure Bazaar declared prohibited zone
The District Administration Office, Morang, issued a notice on Wednesday and declared the designated areas as prohibited zones from 3:00PM. With the nomination proposal being registered in the provincial assembly, the security arrangements have been tightened from Devkota Chowk to Hospital Chowk and the District Administration Office in Biratnagar.
Similarly, the area around the Chief Minister's Office and the Chief Minister's residence has been declared a prohibited zone from 3PM until further orders to prevent any kind of protests, sit-ins, processions or clashes.
