KATHMANDU, Oct 20: The areas surrounding Sahid Chowk and Gairapatan in Kaski’s Pokhara have been declared prohibited zones following the arrest of Rabi Lamichhane, a former home minister and chairman of the Rastryia Swantantra Party (RSP).
The Kaski District Administration Office reported that this prohibition will be enforced from today until further notice is made.

The District Police Office Kaski has issued a notice stating that the prohibition order has been issued as untoward situations may be created due to demonstrations, processions, crowding, riots and clashes.
Previously, prohibited orders were enforced in front of the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.
