KATHMANDU, Mar 3: United World Schools (UWS), Nepal, a Nepal based charity, has officially called for applications for its fellowship program on March 2. The fellowship program provides Nepali youths an opportunity to serve as full time teachers to children from poor and marginalized communities in Nepal where quality education is desperately needed.

According to the press statement released by UWS,the program aims to improve the quality of education delivered to the children in rural communities by practicing modern teaching methodology and practical based learning through trained fellows.“Through this experience of teaching in classroom and working with students, parents and community leaders the youths will be exposed to the grass root realities of Nepal’s education system,” it added.

“The two-year-long program will not only provide an excellent starting platform to shape their careers and broaden their connections as a leader but also to initiate a systemic change towards educational equity in Nepal.”
