KATHMANDU, Nov 7: All Nepal National Free Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNFSU-R), a student wing affiliated to the CPN (Maoist Center), has decided to provide Rs 1 million to the earthquake victims of Jajarkot and Rukum West.

ANNFSU Vice President Naresh Regmi announced that the organization decided to support the earthquake victims by raising funds internally from its members.

Different standards have been set for the organization's office team, officials and members to raise funds. Vice President Regmi said that Rs 5,000 will be collected from those holding the post of President to General Secretary, Rs 3,000 to lower-rank office bearers, Rs 1,000 to central members and Rs 500 to provincial committee members.

Regmi further said that after the earthquake, ANNFSU has been actively involved in rescue, relief and rehabilitation in the affected areas. According to him, ANNFSU has also been conducting blood donation and other programs to support the treatment of those injured in the earthquake.
